Chapman Freeborn OBC growth in the US = new address in Los Angeles

April 6, 2021

With nearly three years of growing from strength to strength, Chapman Freeborn OBC has moved its US operations hub in downtown Los Angeles from its private suite within a shared work space to its own office space.

Kasey Lam, Operations Manager, remarked, “As demand from our client-base has grown and our business mix categories have grown, we have added personnel to meet that need here in the U.S. Moving into our own office space was the next logical step.”

“The team was working well and productivity was high; but we wanted to get ahead of the curve, when everyone returns to the office full time. Moving into a new office space is a re-investment into our US hub and its resources,” said Rob Alleman, Manager, Chapman Freeborn OBC.

According to Entrepreneur magazine, expansion into a new, larger space can be one of the best ways to keep a company on a steady growth trajectory. After nearly a year of working remotely, providing people with a safe, healthy workspace that they love coming into every day, provides a welcome element of energy and stability.

“Planning ahead for future growth, we chose our new location because it’s relatively close to the old office space. There is minimal change to the commute and no change to work schedules, continued Alleman, in fact, we’re experiencing a growth in productivity.”

Chapman Freeborn OBC is settling into its new downtown Los Angeles office location at the corner of 6th street and Flower. The new office is flexible and allows 6 feet of space between desks and rooms for collaboration as well as privacy. The fresh environment is branded with color scheme and design that follows the dynamic nature of the on board courier business.
